Gold Price Today: Good News! Precious Metal Falls On Diwali, Silver Down; Check Rates In Major Cities

Gold Price Today: In some respite for buyers this Diwali, the price of 24-carat gold dropped Rs 10 in early trade on Monday. Ten grams of gold were selling at Rs 1,30,850, according to the GoodReturns website. Meanwhile, silver prices also fell Rs 100, with 1 kg trading at Rs 1,71,900.

The price of 22-carat gold fell by Rs 10, with 10 grams now selling at Rs 1,19,940.

In Mumbai and Kolkata, 10 grams of 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,30,850, while in Chennai it stood at Rs 1,30,900. In Delhi, 10 grams of 24-carat gold cost Rs 1,31,000.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold were priced at Rs 1,19,940 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, while in Chennai the rate was slightly higher at Rs 1,19,990.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold in Delhi were priced at Rs 1,20,090. The rate for one kilogram of silver was Rs 1,71,900 in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, and Rs 1,89,900 in Chennai.
