Gold Price Today, 7 April 2023: If you also want to buy gold, silver or its jewelry, then there is important news for you. Today is Good Friday. Therefore, the bullion market is also closed. New rates of gold and silver will not be released today in the bullion market. Now the new rates of gold and silver will be released on Monday, 10 April. Significantly, on Saturdays and Sundays as well as on government holidays, new rates of the yellow metal are not issued in the market and trading is done at the previous day’s rate only.

The price of gold registered a decline after creating a new history of inflation on Wednesday, April 5, on April 6, 2023. While gold became cheaper on Thursday, there was a slight rise in the price of silver. After this fall, gold was currently selling at Rs 60623 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 74164 per kg. Gold and silver on IBJA

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Thursday (6 April 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) became cheaper by Rs 158 per ten grams and closed at Rs 60623 per ten grams. While gold had set a new record of inflation on the last trading day on Wednesday. Gold closed at a level of Rs 60781 per kg with a big jump of Rs 1066.

On Thursday, unlike gold, there is a slight increase in the price of silver. On Thursday, silver closed at Rs 74164 per kg with a gain of Rs 330. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver had gained Rs 234 to close at Rs 73834 per kg.

Gold and silver rates on MCX

Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold fell on Thursday and silver rose. On MCX gold is trading cheaper by Rs 121 at Rs 60,735 while silver is trading at Rs 74,620 with a gain of Rs 65.

Gold slashes by Rs 100 and silver by Rs 6000 from all-time high

With this boom, gold is being sold costlier by about Rs 206 per 10 grams from its all-time high. Earlier, gold made its all-time high on 5 April 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 60781 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 5816 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.

14 to 24 Carat Gold Price

After this decline, 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 158 to Rs 60623, 23 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 158 to Rs 60380, 22 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 144 to Rs 55531, 18 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 119 to Rs 45467 and 14 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 158. Gold being cheaper by Rs 90 is trading at Rs 35465 per 10 grams.

Gold and silver in international market

Like the Indian bullion market, gold is trading with a decline in the international market today. In the US market, gold was trading down by $2.69 at $2,017.75 an ounce and silver was trading down $0.03 at $24.90 an ounce.
