According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), in the first week of this year, on Thursday (January 5), on the fourth day of the business week, gold (Gold Price Update) became cheaper by Rs. 85 per ten grams to Rs. Girkar is trading at the level of Rs 55957 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, gold price became costlier by Rs 561 and closed at Rs 56142 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver (Silver Price Update) is trading below 69000 at the level of Rs 68200 per kg with a huge decrease of Rs 1171. Whereas on Wednesday, on the last trading day, silver climbed by Rs 149 to close at Rs 69371 per kg.

Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading with a boom today on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold on MCX is costlier by Rs 16 at Rs 55,783 while silver is trading at Rs 69,284 with a gain of Rs 34.
Gold down by Rs 200; silver by Rs 11,700 from all-time high
At present, gold is selling cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 243 per 10 grams. Gold made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver was getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 11780 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg. 14 to 24 Carat Gold

Gold and silver in the international market
