Gold Price Today, 31 May 2023: Gold on Wednesday witnessed a marginal rise of Rs 33 per 10 gram and touched the rate of Rs 60,435 per 10 gram. While gold on Tuesday was closed at Rs 60,402 on last day of trading. Whereas Silver also registered a surge of Rs 215 per kg and reached at the rate of Rs 71,076 per kg. Gold-silver on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Wednesday (31 May 2023), gold has become costly by Rs 33 per 10 grams and is trading at the level of Rs 60,435 per 10 grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Tuesday gold closed at Rs 60,402 per 10 grams.
Gold and silver rates on MCX
Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold and silver price rises on Tuesday on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is costly by Rs 18 per 10 grams at Rs 59,964, while silver is trading costly by Rs 436 at Rs 71,479 per kg.
Gold slips by Rs 1,150; silver by Rs 8,904 from all-time high
After this, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by about Rs 1,150 per 10 grams. Significantly, gold made its all-time high of Rs 61,646 per 10 grams on 4 May 2023. Whereas silver is getting cheaper at the rate of Rs 8,904 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
14 to 24 Carat
24 carat gold is trading at Rs 60,440 per 10 gram, 22 carat gold at Rs 58980 per 10 gram, 18 carat gold at Rs 48,950 per 10 gram and 14 carat gold is trading at the level of Rs 38,980 per 10 grams.
Gold-silver in international market
Unlike the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are trading fast in the international market today. In the US market, gold was trading down by $ 2.11 at $ 1,960.82 an ounce and silver was trading at $ 23.35 an ounce with a gain of $ 0.15.
