Gold and silver prices have fallen for the second day on Tuesday ahead of Budget 2023. Today gold is decreased by Rs38 per 10 grams and silver by Rs200 per kg. After this, gold has fallen to Rs 57041 per 10 grams while silver has reached Rs 67949 per kg. The rates of gold and silver in MCX and international markets are tax-free, so there will be a difference between the rates in the country’s markets.

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), today (January 31), gold (Gold Price Update) is trading at the level of Rs 57041 per ten grams, falling at the rate of Rs 38 per ten grams. While on the last trading day on Monday, gold became cheaper by Rs 110 and closed at Rs 57079 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver (Silver Price Update) is trading at a level of Rs 67949 per kg with a fall of Rs 200 today. While on the last trading day on Monday, silver became cheaper by Rs 43 and closed at Rs 68149 per kg.

Gold and silver rates on MCX
Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading at a fast pace even on the Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. Gold on MCX has risen by Rs. 8 to Rs. 56,790, while silver is trading at Rs. 68,128, down by Rs. 461.
Gold down by Rs 300 to Rs 12000 from all-time high
At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 321 per 10 grams. Gold made its all-time high on January 24, 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 57362 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver was getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 12031 per kg.
