According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the first business day of the first week of this year, on Monday (January 2), gold became costlier by Rs 246 per ten grams and crossed the Rs 55,000 mark. Gold down by Rs 1,200 and silver by Rs 11400 from all-time high
At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 1265 per 10 grams. Gold made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver was getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 111460 per kg.
