Gold Price Today, 19 January 2023: Gold has registered fall of Rs 113 per 10 gram and slipped to the rate of Rs 56642 per 10 grams on Thursday. While silver is also registered huge fall of Rs 1729 and dropped to Rs 67264 per kg. It is noted that the price of gold and silver is continuously rising for the several months and touched the record high on January 16.

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Thursday gold fell by Rs 113 per ten grams to the level of Rs 56642 per 10 grams. While on the last trading day on Wednesday, gold price had climbed up by Rs3 and closed at Rs. 56825 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver (Silver Price Update) is trading at a level of Rs 67264 per kg with a big fall of Rs 1729. While on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver had gained Rs 332 to close at Rs 68993 per kg.

Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading with a boom today on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is costlier by Rs 12 at the level of Rs 56,298, while silver is trading at Rs 67,830 with a softening of Rs 397.
Gold is down by Rs 240 to Rs 12700 from all-time high
At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 241 per 10 grams. Gold made its all-time high on January 16, 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56883 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver was getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 12716 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
