Gold Price Today, 17 March 2023: After seeing continuous rise for the last few days, The price of gold on Friday declined by Rs 182 per ten grams and slipped at the rate of Rs 58159 per ten grams. While Silver has also registered a decline of Rs Rs 374 and down to the rate of Rs Rs 66937 per kg. This has brought a hope among the buyers that the rate of precious metals may go down. Gold is trading above Rs 58,000 per 10 grams while silver has fallen below Rs 67000 per kg. Gold is getting cheaper by Rs 700 per 10 grams and silver by more than Rs 13000 per kg. The gold and silver rates of MCX and the international market are tax-free, so there is a difference between the rates of the country’s markets.

Gold Price Today, 17 March 2023 on IBJA

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), today (17 March 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) is trading at the level of Rs 58159 per ten grams, falling at the rate of Rs 182 per ten grams. While on the previous trading day, on Thursday, gold had become cheaper by Rs 439 per 10 grams and closed at Rs 58341 per kg.

Along with gold, a slight softening is also being seen in the price of silver today. Today silver is trading at a level of Rs 66937 per kg with a fall of Rs 374. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, silver closed at Rs 67311 per kg with a gain of Rs 450.

Gold on MCX

Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading with a boom on the Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold on MCX is costlier by Rs 254 at the level of Rs 58,260, while silver is trading at Rs 67,270 with a gain of Rs 739.

Gold slips by Rs 700; silver by Rs 13000 from all-time high

At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 767 per 10 grams. Earlier, gold made its all-time high on February 2, 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 58882 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 13480 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.

Gold Price Today, 17 March 2023:14 to 24 Carat Gold Price

In this way, on Thursday, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 58159 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold by Rs 57927 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold by Rs 53273 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold by Rs 43619 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold by approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 34023 per 10 grams.

Gold and silver in the international market
