Gold Price Today 16 May 2023: Gold on Tuesday recorded a fall of Rs 129 and reached at the price of Rs 61,079 per 10 grams. While gold on previous trady On Tuesday closed at Rs 60,208 per 10 gm. Where as Silver on Tuesday opened with fall of Rs 440 at Rs 72,015 per kg. Silver on its previous day (Monday) was closed at the rate of Rs 72,455 per kg.
Gold-silver on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Tuesday (16 May 2023), gold registered fall of Rs 129 per 10 grams and is trading at Rs 61079 per 10 grams. While gold on previous trady On Monday closed at Rs 61,208 per 10 gm. Where as Silver on Tuesday opened with fall of Rs 440 at Rs 72,015 per kg. Silver on its previous day (Monday) was closed at the rate of Rs 72,455 per kg.
Gold and silver rates on MCX
Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold and silver are trading with a fall on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is trading with a fall of Rs 299 per 10 grams at Rs 60,728 while silver is trading with a rise of Rs 882 at Rs 72,52 per kg.
Gold slips by Rs 506 and silver by Rs 8,000 from all-time high
With this boom, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by about Rs 506 per 10 grams. Significantly, gold made its all-time high of Rs 61646 per ten grams on 4 May 2023. Whereas silver is getting cheaper at the rate of Rs 7,929 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
14 to 24 Carat
On Tuesday 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 61,080 per 10 gram, 22 carat gold at Rs 59,610 per 10 gram, 20 carat gold at Rs 54,360 per 10 gram, 18 carat gold by Rs 49,470 per 10 gram and 14 carat gold is trading at Rs 39400 per 10 grams.
Gold-silver in international market
Unlike the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are still trading with a decline in the international market. In the US market, gold was trading down by $8.82 at $2,0005.63 an ounce and silver was down by $0.31 at $23.77 an ounce.
