The dates for the second tranche of subscription of the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) scheme have been announced by the Reserve Bank of India.

On Thursday, the price of gold rose by Rs 197 per 10 gramme, while the price of silver rose by Rs 640 per kilogramme. At the moment, individuals may purchase gold at around Rs 2400 per 10 gramme and silver for less than Rs 14600 per kg.
