New Delhi: A significant portion of the population in the country is comprised of individuals who are impoverished, working as laborers, or involved in the unorganized sector. These people encounter numerous economic challenges in their daily lives and often lack a stable source of income.
Unlike those in the organized sector who have options like Provident Funds (PFs) to safeguard their future, those in the unorganized sector lack job security and struggle to invest in such schemes. To address this issue, the Indian government has initiated the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, a scheme aimed at securing the future of unorganized sector workers.
Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana
This program is specifically designed for individuals aged 18 to 40 who belong to the unorganized sector. If you enroll in this scheme at 18 years old, you will need to save Rs 1.83 per day and invest Rs 55 every month until you reach the age of 60. Once you reach 60 years of age, you will receive a monthly pension of Rs 3000.
If you wish to avail yourself of the Rs 3000 per month pension by participating in this scheme, you can do so by visiting the official website of the Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana at https://maandhan.in/. The application process is straightforward and user-friendly, and many people across the country are already taking advantage of this opportunity.
To apply for the scheme, you will need several documents, including your Aadhar card, a passport-sized photo, an identity card, mobile number, mailing address, and an income certificate, among others.
