Indian industrialist and Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani, congratulated President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday while also announcing a $10 billion investment commitment by the Adani Group in the United States. This investment aims to support U.S. energy security and infrastructure projects, with the goal of creating up to 15,000 jobs. Adani, who heads the ports-to-energy conglomerate, shared the announcement via a post on X (formerly Twitter), expressing the Adani Group’s ambition to leverage its global expertise to drive resilient infrastructure and energy security in the U.S.
European Diplomats Visit Adani Group’s Renewable Energy Sites
In a related development, four European ambassadors from the European Union, Germany, Denmark, and Belgium visited the Adani Group’s renewable energy installations in Gujarat, India. During the visit, they explored the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, which is poised to become the world’s largest renewable energy facility, with a projected capacity of 30 GW. The park will feature both solar and wind energy projects spread across an area five times the size of Paris.
Accompanied by Adani, the diplomats also visited Mundra, home to India’s largest port, logistics, and industrial complex. Adani shared the Group’s strategic vision to expand green hydrogen production and comply with the European Union’s Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) standards.

The visit and subsequent discussions were centered on strengthening global partnerships to drive India’s energy transition and accelerate the growth of the hydrogen ecosystem.
