Many individuals rely on stored milk, making fresh milk procurement a challenge, especially in urban areas. This challenge paved the way for the birth of Country Delight.
As per media reports, Country Delight prides itself on delivering fresh milk to households every morning. The company receives around 30 lakh orders for milk per month, showcasing the remarkable success of their business model.
Country Delight now boasts a customer base of around 15 lakh people. Founded by like-minded individuals who initially used to deliver milk themselves, the company’s value now exceeds a staggering 5000 crore INR.
Co-founder Chakradhar Gade, an alumnus of IIM Indore, along with Nitin Kaushal, recognized a gap in the market. They saw the challenges associated with procuring fresh milk in metropolitan areas and seized the opportunity to cater to this need.
Their journey began by tackling the issue of adulterated milk, and their vision gradually expanded. In 2015, Country Delight was born, with Nitin Kaushal, a classmate from IIM Indore, joining forces to establish the company.
Their dedication led them to personally deliver milk to customers in the early days, laying the foundation for what would eventually become a thriving business. Starting with 50 cows, the company now manages nearly 5000 cows, symbolizing their remarkable growth.
While the company initially focused on delivering milk, it has since diversified its offerings to include ghee, paneer, eggs, and even bread. Country Delight has also added fruits and vegetables to their portfolio, adhering to their principles of affordability and high quality.
