In spite of hard work, sometimes it becomes hectic to get a confirmed ticket in Indian Railways, which can cause a problem with one’s plans. It gets difficult, especially for those who have to commute daily using trains.

In times of need, Indian railways have managed to benefit people with this amazing facility. Suppose, if an individual got a confirmed ticket many months ago after making so many efforts, but it would have been cancelled due to some reasons which might lead to the cancellation of the ticket, now he/she will not have to do so.

Rescheduling offline ticket
In case one has booked their ticket using the offline method, then in that case they have to reach the station at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled departure. There, go to the reservation counter during working hours and reschedule the ticket by paying a fee for the service.
Using online mode
For rescheduling the ticket using online mode, then an individual will need to visit the reservation office at least 48 house prior to the scheduled train. As the facility is available only for tickets booked in offline mode.
In addition to this, this facility is not available on special tickets. The permission to reschedule tickets has proved to be efficient, especially during the Covid-19 times.
