According to the DGCA, RP presented the redemption plan to DGCA on June 28, after which the aviation regulator conducted a special audit of the airline’s Mumbai and Delhi facilities from July 4th to july 6th, 2023.

The audit carried out was concentrated on the safety-related aspects and continued observation of the needs by an operator to hold an Air Operator Certificate along with the physical verification of the arrangements done for the resumption of flight operations.

An official source told a news agency that currently, the airline has 22 aircraft ready with four in reserve and “as and when we get a go-ahead, we will start them deploying.”

As per the source, Go First is trying to get 15-18 aircraft at first along with some pilots whose recency will take about 4-5 to clear, which means by the next week a balanced aircraft can be expected.

He further said that during the first week, the airline will start operating 130 flights and will add up to 160 flights in the following week.

Previously, the aviation regulator carried out a special audit of Go First’s Mumbai and Delhi facilities in this month.
