Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express update: The Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express is set run on tracks from April. The railways on Wednesday issued its route map. The train will stop at 3 stations- Gurugram, Rewari and Alwar. Its trial speed will be 72 km per hour for the first week. Later, the speed of the train will be raised to 150 km per hour. The Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat express will start on Saturday (March 25).
Initial trial Speed
In the initial trial, the train will start from Delhi at 6:10 pm and reach Gurugram at 6:45 pm and Rewari junctin at 7:35 pm. It will reach Alwar at 8:25 pm and Jaipur at 10:20 pm. It will reach Ajmer at 12:15 am. It will cover 442 km distance in 6 hours and 5 minutes.

The train will take 4 hours to reach Jaipur from Delhi during trial. But later when the speed of the train will be raised to 150 km per hour, it will just take 1:45 hours to reach Jaipur. The train will run for only six days. It will not run on Wednesday.
The Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat service is likely to start this month. The authorities have not yet released the details of fare between Delhi and Jaipur. It takes between Rs 400-600 for a Delhi-Jaipur travel in a normal AC train. It is obvious that the Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat train will be comparatively costlier. It is estimated that the fare for a chair car can be between Rs.800-1,000. An executive class ticket can cost anywhere between Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000.
