The Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat service is likely to start this month. The authorities have not yet released the details of fare between Delhi and Jaipur. It takes between Rs 400-600 for a Delhi-Jaipur travel in a normal AC train. It is obvious that the Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat train will be comparatively costlier. It is estimated that the fare for a chair car can be between Rs.800-1,000. An executive class ticket can cost anywhere between Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000.

Speed, swanky features, key details
It travels 100 kilometres per hour in 52 seconds. The peak speed of the train will be 160 kmph. Later this speed can be increased to 200 km per hour. Automatic doors, CCTV cameras, vacuum toilets, power backup, GPS will be the main facilities to be extended by the train. The train will also have seats that can rotate at an angle of 180 degrees. In addition, instead of the typical chains used in regular trains, you can employ the one-push stop option. It is noted that the express is entirely designed and built in India.
After the inauguration of the Vande Bharat express between the two cities, the train journey between Jodhpur and Jaipur would also be shortened. It generally takes six hours to travel between the two ancient cities. The trip time will be reduced to two hours once these trains are operational.

During a recent testing run in Rajasthan, the train reached a top speed of 180 km/h. Depots in Jodhpur and Ganganagar are also planned.
