If you are also looking to check your Provident Fund (PF) balance without much hassle, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) offers multiple options. Customers can easily access their balance using a smartphone, computer or even a simple mobile phone. In this article, we have listed some ways through which users can get to know their balance from anywhere in just a few minutes.
Here are few ways through which you can know your PF balance:
Missed Call Facility
Members registered on the UAN portal can get their details available with EPFO by giving a Missed call to 9966044425. Users need to dial the number from their registered Mobile number.
If the UAN of the member is seeded with any one of the Bank A/C number, AADHAAR and PAN the member will get details of last contribution and PF Balance.
However, there are some Pre-Requiste For Availing Missed Call Facility
1. Mobile Number must be activated with UAN at Unified Portal.
2. Any one of following KYC must be available against the UAN: Bank A/c Number, Aadhaar or PA.
Short Code SMS Service
Members can check their latest PF contribution and balance available with EPFO by sending an SMS at 7738299899 from a registered mobile number. To facilitate users, the facility is available in English (default) and Hindi, Punjabi, Guajarati and Marathi.
UMANG App
Through this app, users can check their PF balance, raise claim, apply for scheme certificate, apply for UAN, seed UAN with Aadhaar, check claim status, view EPFO office address, register grievance and apply for Jeevan Pramaan certificate.
EPFO Portal
Users can log in to the EPFO Portal and avail services of ‘Member Passbook’. Once logged in, users can view or download their passbook which shows monthly contributions and interest earned.
EPFO Member e-Sewa Portal
This portal offers wide range of services from checking your balance to downloading your passbook. Users can check their balance by logging into this portal.
