BSNL Introduces Cheapest Voice And SMS-Only Plan To Adhere With TRAI Rules – How It Competes With Jio, Airtel & VI?

Right now the cheapest voice calls and SMS only plan is BSNL's Rs 439 plan. The validity of the plan is for 90 days. Under this the user can make unlimited text messages and calls.

After the guidelines from the TRAI, the leading telecom providers in the country has brought new voice and SMS plans. Jio, Airtel and VI has recently launched these plans for the people who don’t want the internet connectivity. Many thin it as expensive.

On the other end BSNL has pointed out its existing voice only plan, which has regained the interest after the TRAI’s directive.

About BSNL Rs 439 Plan

Right now the cheapest voice calls and SMS only plan is BSNL’s Rs 439 plan. The validity of the plan is for 90 days. Under this the user can make unlimited text messages and calls.

However, Jio gives a similar kind of plan for call and SMS only. This plan if for Rs 448. The validity of this plan is for 84 days. The other plan offered by Jio is for Rs 1748 and its validity is for 336 days.

On the other hand Airtel which is comparatively more expensive then Jio and BSNL. It gives the user similar plans for Rs 468 for 84 days and Rs 1849 for 365 days.

Vi gives similar facility for Rs 470 Rs 1460. The validity for the plans are 84 days and 270 days respectively.
