Mahila Rojgar Yojana next installment: The women in Bihar are eagerly waiting for the next installment under ‘Mahila Rojgar Yojana’. The wait will soon end as Rs 10,000 financial aid will be deposited into the accounts of eligible women beneficiaries on October 6, 2025.

The Bihar government has already sent two installments under this scheme so far. While many have received the money, some have reported empty accounts. The payments are being made in phases to ensure every eligible female beneficiary receives the money.

According to reports, the pending installments will arrive on the following dates in 2025: October 17, 24, and 31; November 7, 14, 21, and 28; December 5, 12, 19, and 26. Women who haven’t yet received their installment must check if their bank account is active and if they have completed the E-KYC process. The funds will be transferred through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

  • Women who didn’t receive the money must visit the concerned government office, like the Block Office, the Panchayat Secretariat, and register their problem.
  • Get your bank passbook updated and confirm the name, account number, and Aadhaar linking.
  • Carry documents like an application form, Aadhar, a copy of a bank passbook, mobile number, etc

Mahila Rojgar Yojana Eligibility

  • Unmarried adult women whose parents are not alive will be considered a nuclear family for the scheme and will be provided benefits as per the rules.
  • All members (one woman from one family) associated with self-help groups in urban areas are eligible
  • For women who are not currently members of Self Help Groups in urban areas as members, the following has to be ensured:
  1. The age of the applicant should be 18-60 years.
  2. The applicant herself or her husband should not be in the category of an income taxpayer.
  3. The applicant herself or her husband should not be in Government service (regular/contract).
