UPI payment with Rupay Credit card: The largest Bank in the private sector HDFC Bank has now achieved another feat. The Private lender has become the first private sector bank to offer UPI payment with Rupay credit card.
HDFC has given its customers the option to use their Rupay credit cards on the unified payments interface (UPI) for online payment. Earlier, UPI was being linked to savings accounts for transactions. Recently, the Reserve Bank Of India changed the rule, Now, Credit cards can also be linked with UPI.

HDFC Bank Rupay Credit card can be linked to UPI
HDFC Bank Rupay credit cards can be linked to a UPI ID with any application and enable customers to pay smoothly. HDFC bank country head for payments Parag Rao said this facility will offer customers more flexibility and convenience in order to make digital payments. “We believe linking Rupay credit card to UPI will be a game-changer for the digital payment ecosystem” National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) chief operating officer Praveena Rai said.
