Bank Holidays September 2023: August is ending in a few days and September is at the door to enter. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for September 2023. According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India, 16 days will be closed in different parts of the country including second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
RBI guidelines
As per RBI guidelines, all public sector banks will remain closed with some regional holidays on a state special basis. Let us tell you that the regional holidays are decided by the respective state governments. In this, other holidays like Shri Krishna Janmashtami (September 19), and Eid-e-Milad (September 28) will also come, on which day all the banks of the country will remain closed.

28 September 2023: Eid-e-Milad / Eid-e-Miladunnabi – (Birthday of Prophet Mohammad) (Twelfth Death)
29 September 2023: Indrajatra / Friday after Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi.
