Bank Holidays June 2023: May ended this year on Wednesday and June has started on Thursday. June is the third month of the financial year 2023-24. Every month all banks are closed according to the holiday list of RBI. As soon as the first month of the financial year 2023-24 ends, the Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays for the month of June. Banks play a very important role in the lives of common people. Facilitating money transactions, receiving demand drafts, and depositing checks are a number of activities for which many people visit the bank on a daily basis.

When banks are closed on holidays, many people are left with important work that cannot be completed. Thus, for people to do their work in advance or not to go to the bank on the holiday, we are providing the bank holiday list for June 2023.

Festivals, anniversaries and other occasions in June2023, including Saturdays and Sundays. Due to all this banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days. The list of bank holidays varies from state to state. That’s why we are providing the complete list of holidays state wise.

  • June 18, 2023: Sunday (All banks closed)
  • June 20, 2023: Rath Yatra holiday in Odisha
  • June 24, 2023: Fourth Saturday (All banks closed)
  • June 25, 2023: Sunday (All banks closed)
  • June 26, 2023: Kharchi Puja holiday in Tripura
  • June 28, 2023: Eid Ul Azha holiday in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir
  • June 29, 2023: Eid Ul Azha holiday in remaining states
  • June 30, 2023: Rima Eid ul Azha holiday in Mizoram and Odisha

When banks are closed on holidays, many important works get stuck, causing inconvenience to the people. In such a situation, you can complete some of your work through mobile or net banking. You can transfer money from one account to another through net banking or mobile banking. Additionally, you can use UPI to transfer money. For cash withdrawal, you can use ATM. By availing these digital banking facilities, you can continue your banking activities smoothly even during bank holidays.
