Haifa accounts for less than 2% of the volume handled by Adani Ports and SEZ and contributes about 5% of the revenue.  APSEZ manages a total cargo volume of 10.57 million tonnes.

Israel had attacked Iran on Friday targeting its nuclear, missile and military infrastructure. Tehran too retaliated with missile strikes on Israel later. The series of attacks by both countries continued for third day on Sunday, escalating the conflict further.

Iran claimed that Israel attacked its two oil refineries, escalating tensions targeting Iran’s heavily sanctioned energy sector, which could affect global markets. Despite Israel’s strong air defences, some Iranian missiles evaded them to successfully strike buildings in the city.
