Adani Group’s shares witnessed a jump on Tuesday, and the Group’s chairman, Gautam Adani, saw a rise in his net worth by $7.47 billion (approximately Rs 646293195000). He has been listed among the world’s top 20 richest people, with a net worth of $73.5 billion.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani was the highest earner on Tuesday, with the Group’s stocks gaining 20%.
The shares of Adani Power saw a gain of 19.77%, Adani Green rose by 13.22%, Adani Energy Solutions increased by 12.06%, Adani Enterprises grew by 7.12%, Adani Total Gas climbed by 6.52%, and NDTV witnessed a jump of 6.49%. Adani Ports, ACC and Ambuja Cements witnessed a jump of 4%.
The world’s richest person and Tesla CEO Elon musk lost $5.01 billion on Tuesday while the world’s second richest person Mark Zuckerberg too lost $4.85 billion. Musk still held the top position in the list of world;s richest persons with a net worth of $427 billion.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos held the second spot with a net worth of $237 billion, followed by Mark Zuckerberg in third place with a net worth of $210 billion. Larry Ellison ranked fourth with $182 billion, while Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, secured the fifth spot with $179 billion in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
