Demand for 8th Pay Commission intensifies
Central employees demanding the 8th Pay Commission say that they are getting less salary than what was recommended in the 7th Pay Commission. At the same time, the government has categorically denied any idea on the subject of implementing the 8th pay scale in the House. Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chowdhary has mentioned this in Parliament as well.
Minimum salary Rs 26,000
It is being told that if everything goes well, the 8th Pay Commission can be planned in the next year 2024. If this happens then there can be a tremendous increase in his salary. According to reports, the minimum pay of government employees will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 if the employees union’s proposal is approved under the 8th Pay Commission. And the fitment factor will increase up to 3.68 times.
8th pay commission may be implemented in 2026
Let us tell you that the Pay Commission for the employees is implemented only once in every ten years. The same pattern has been seen in the implementation of 5th, 6th and 7th pay commissions. According to an estimate, the 8th Pay Commission will be set up in the year 2024 and whose recommendations can be implemented in 2026.

Will the government end the Pay Commission?

If there is more than 50 percent DA in this, there will be an automatic revision in the salary.
