According to reports, the minimum wage of government employees can be increased from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 if the proposal of the employees union gets approval. At the same time, the fitment factor will increase to 3.68 times.

Recommendations of 8th Pay Commission may be implemented in 2026. The pay commission for the employees is implemented only once in every ten years. The same pattern has been seen in the implementation of the 5th, 6th and 7th pay commissions. According to an estimate, the 8th Pay Commission will be set up in the year 2024 and whose recommendations can be implemented in 2026.

Pay commission Abolishment?
Along with this, there are also reports that after the 7th Pay Commission, its tradition will end. That is, after the 7th pay commission, now no new pay commission will come. In this, if the DA is more than 50 percent, there will be automatic revision in the salary.
