Which govt employees will be covered under it?

The Productivity Linked Bonus in Railways covers all non-gazetted railway employees (except RPF/RPSF personnel) spread across the country.

It has been reliably learnt that earlier the bonus was given equal to 72 days’ salary but for the last few years, bonus is being given on the basis of 78 days’ salary. This move will put a burden of around Rs 1832 crore on the Railways.
