New Delhi: Before the increase in Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) for July, great news has come for the central employees. Lakhs of employees were still expecting the July Dearness Allowance to be announced in August. But on the other hand the government has given another good news. After promotions were given to more than 8,000 government employees on July 1, 2022, the Department of Personnel and Training is all set to give promotions to more government officials in the next two to three weeks.
Government announced related to promotion
A delegation of officials of the Central Secretariat Official Language Service Group A met Union Minister Jitendra Singh. After this the announcement related to the promotion was made. Minister of State for Personnel Singh assured the visiting delegation that the process of promotion would be expedited as per rules.
18 months training required
Training is necessary for officers from one year to 18 months before promotion. The Union Minister of State told the delegation that he would consider their demands sympathetically and any problems faced in giving promotions would be resolved. Singh also said that all future promotions for government officials from here will be done in a systematic manner.
DA will increase to 38 percent
As on July 1, 2022, 8089 employees have been promoted, out of which 4,734 are from Central Secretariat Service (CSS), 2,966 from Central Secretariat Stenographer Service (CSSS) and 389 from Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS).
