Level 2 to 4 employees must possess 3 to 8 years of experience.

For promotions beyond Level 4, employees up to Level 17 should have experience ranging from one to 12 years.

These instructions have been implemented with immediate effect, granting all eligible employees the benefit of promotion. However, it is essential to meet the specified criteria and eligibility for promotion.

4 Per cent Increase in Dearness Allowance (DA):

It is worth noting that a four per cent increase in dearness allowance (DA) for central government employees in the upcoming July half-year is anticipated and is considered confirmed. The formal announcement of this increase is forthcoming, with proposals currently in preparation. This raise will bring the dearness allowance to a total of 46%. Additionally, the employees of the Defense Ministry will also enjoy the benefits of these promotions.

This update will undoubtedly bring positive changes and increased opportunities for employees under the Seventh Pay Commission.
