New Delhi: Six telecom companies operating in the nation, including Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone-Idea had a total best worth of Rs 4.17 crore in the fiscal year 2021-22.
Responding to a query, minister of state for Telecom Devusinh Chauhan submitted the data in the Lok Sabha that shows Vodafone Idea had a debt of Rs 1,91,073.9 crore, Airtel had Rs 1,03,408.1 crore, Reliance Jio had Rs 42,486 crore as debt and Tata teleservices has Rs 20,162.04 crore and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) had Rs 19,703.84 crore debt in Financial year 2021-22.

“The Union government has approved various structural and procedural reforms in the telecom sector to protect the interest of consumers, and encourage investment'” said the minister.
