“We extend our gratitude to taxpayers and tax professionals for helping us reach this milestone, and urge all those who haven’t filed ITR for AY 2023-24, to file their ITR at the earliest to avoid last-minute rush,” said the IT Department.

The Department further informed us that the services and help desk are open 24/7.

“To assist taxpayers for ITR filing, tax payment, and other related services, our helpdesk is functioning on a 24×7 basis, and we are providing support through calls, live chats, WebEx sessions & social media,” tweeted the IT Department.

It is noteworthy, July 31 is the last date to file the ITR. If you have not done it yet then do it as soon as possible, failing would cause you trouble in order to claim from the tax return.

One can file ITR by login to the e-filing portal, if you find it difficult to file then you should take the help of a chartered Accountant.
