Yamaha YZF-R125: Yamaha Europe has unveiled the upgraded Yamaha YZF-R125, the youngest member of the new R-Series family. As a result, this entry-level sports bike is practical for everyday use. as well as racing on the racetrack

The Yamaha YZF-R125 will retain the same fundamentals from the most recent update in 2020, including a 125 cc, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, water-cooled, SOHC engine with VVA system as the protagonist, which helps to adjust the engine rpm depending on the speed range used at the time.

The bike also includes a 6-speed transmission with a new gear ratio adjustment. When changing gears at high speeds, the Wet Multi-Pkatte clutch with Assint&Slipper Clutch helps to reduce gears and reduces rear wheel chopping.

The superbike also has a long-lasting Deltabox construction with size 41 mm connected to the front suspension. The rear suspension consists of a single shock absorber and an aluminium swingarm.

The braking system is a Wasve disc at the front and rear with Dual Channel ABS, and the 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Street tyres that provide excellent driving performance both on and off the racetrack.

In terms of actual improvements, the Yamaha YZF-R125 features a new 5-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and the ability to customise the display. As a result, there are two styles, Street and Track, and the car has a new safety system, Traction Control, for more effective traction control.

Along with the introduction of two new colours, Icon Blue and Tech Black, the colours will be available for purchase in 2023.

In terms of sales, Yamaha Europe will begin selling the new YZF-R125 in April 2023, while the current model will continue to be sold.

Although a new model has been released, part of this is likely due to the new model’s expected price increase, which led Yamaha to decide to keep the current model’s price range and continue to sell from the products that are still in stock.
