Celebrating their 40 year milestone in the South Asian markets, Yamaha Motors have announced a new 10 year total warranty on its made in India vehicles as a part of a celebratory offer. This showcases the brand’s utter trust in their manufacturing and after sales services. The warranty coverage being extended to 10 years only leaves 5 years of registered life of the vehicle to elapse without any warranty. Since Yamaha is the first one to do so an important aspect to witness would be, would other manufacturers follow Yamaha to conduct similar changes or not.
The 10 year warranty would include an 8 year period of extended warranty and on top of that 2 year normal warranty. This would further make the brand a go to choice for many who seek a reliable two wheeler with superior quality.
Vehicles That Are Covered Under The Warranty
The offer is only for available for made in India vehicles imports like the Mt-o3 as well as the R3 are not a part of it. This would be a limited offer only just for the celebration of the 40 year milestone of the brand. Beyond that the warranty would be available for users against a nominal fee at the time of purchase for a short time period afterwards. To further ensure a better deal the warranty can also be transferred to subsequent users, this would boost the resale value of the scooters and motorcycles bought within a period when the offer persisted. Fascino 125 Fi, RayZR Fi and Aerox 155 Version S and Fz series,MT-15 and R15 would all be covered under this scheme.
