Yamaha XSR125 Coming Soon? Price, Features, Specs – What To Expect?

Yamaha XSR125, a stylish 125cc motorcycle, is expected to arrive in India soon. It was in mid-November 2022 when Yamaha took the wraps off the 2023 XSR125 in the European market, revealing the new colour schemes. The unveiling sparked speculation about its potential arrival in India. However, there were reports a while ago that Yamaha would launch the XSR155 in the country, but the two-wheeler maker ultimately introduced the FZ-X instead. Now, reports suggest that Yamaha is expected to launch the XSR125 as a commuter bike on March 31, 2024. It is expected that the XSR125 will be offered as a budget-friendly option in India. Yamaha XSR125: Specifications

A liquid-cooled, SOHC, single cylinder, 4-stroke 124 cc engine powers the Yamaha XSR125. The motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 14.9 PS at 10000 rpm and a torque of 14.5 Nm at 8000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and offers a max speed of 120 kmph.

Equipped with 267 mm disc brakes in the front and 220 mm at the rear, the Yamaha XSR125 rolls on alloy wheels. With a fuel capacity of 11 litres and a ground clearance 160 mm, the motorcycle weighs 140 Kg.
