At the recent Bharat Mobility Expo, Yamaha showcased a few of their international bikes that they sell overseas. Apart from a few models that have been launched in India Yamaha has shared no plans of bringing any of these To India.
Yamaha Showcased a few bikes but the Tenere 700 stood out in the crowd. The bike would possibly be launched in the upcoming time with the increasing adventure motorcycle craze in India.
The new version of the bike has been launched with slew of new changes, these make it even better than before. Yamaha has brought cosmetic changes to the bike and also made the headlamp look more Futuristic.
New Version of the Tenere
Beyond that, the new Version of the Tenere have the same colors coordinated panels as well other features. Beyond that the bike also has a new Rallye kit on it as well. Yamaha has given the bike a ride by wire system and two specific ride modes. The modes would be Explorer as well as sport. Beyond that the new bike has also been given a new 6.3 inch TFT display with an inbuilt USB Type C charging port.
Technical Specifications
The Tenere has kept the same 698 cc engine, parallel Twin Engine that has largely remained the same. The gearbox has been revised with new internals, and the exterior clutch cover has been redesigned as well. Some of the other changes to the bike would be wider set foot pegs and new suspension with upside down 43 mm forks with 210 mm of travel and a monoshock with a remote adjuster. Beyond that the bike also has dual petrol tanks that would allow the user to be able to travelling range of around 500 km. The Tenere competes against the Honda Translap as well as Suzuki V-Storm 800 DE. The two cylinder engine that the bike has churns out 72 Bhp along with a peak torque of 68 nm @6500 rom.
