Yamaha FZ 25 price starts at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, the ex-showroom price of Bajaj Dominar in Delhi is Rs 1.75 lakh. In terms of price, the Yamaha FZ 25 is about Rs 25,000 cheaper than its rival, the Bajaj Dominar.

Engine

Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by a 249 cc single cylinder that generates 20.8 PS of max power and 20.1 Nm of peak torque. A 5 speed gearbox is available with this engine. In Bajaj Dominar, the company has given a single cylinder engine of 248.77 cc. This engine generates maximum power of 27 PS and peak torque of 23.5 Nm and a 5-speed transmission has been given with this engine.

Looking at the engine of Yamaha FZ 25 and Bajaj Dominar 250, it is known that Bajaj Dominar is better than Yamaha FZ 25 in terms of engine.

Mileage 

In terms of mileage, Yamaha claims that the FZ 25 returns a mileage of 50.33 kmpl while Bajaj Auto claims that the Dominar returns a mileage of 35.03 kmpl. The mileage of both the bikes has been certified by ARAI, after seeing which it is known that Yamaha FZ 25 gives 15 kmpl more mileage than Bajaj Dominar.

Talking about the braking system, in Yamaha FZ 25, the company has given disc brakes in both front and rear wheels, with which dual channel anti lock braking system has been given. In the braking system of Bajaj Dominar, the company has installed dual channel ABS system with double disc brakes.
