New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha Motor India has launched the MotoGP variant of its Aerox 155 scooter in the country. This scooter will be available at the company’s premium Blue Square outlets. Let us know about the specialty of this scooter.
Engine
The Yamaha Aerox 155 MotoGP Edition is powered by a 155cc BS6 single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine is capable of producing 14.79 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The company has used its Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology in this engine.
Available in these colors
The new Aerox 155 MotoGP has been launched in three color options like Grey Vermillion, Metallic Black and Racing Blue. The company launched this scooter in the country about a year ago.
Features
Yamaha has provided a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, an all-LED headlamp, telescopic forks for suspension duties at the front and twin spring-loaded shockers at the rear. Also, large 14-inch alloy wheels have been used in it. The scooter gets a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear with single-channel ABS.
How much is the price?
Yamaha has kept the ex-showroom price of this scooter between Rs 1.39 lakh to Rs 1.41 lakh. This scooter will compete with the Aprilia SXR 160 in the market.
