Mahindra is all set to take the wraps off the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which is a facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV300, on April 9. Officially known as the XUV 3XO, this vehicle will boast a brand-new design and refreshed cabin. One of the most anticipated vehicles of 2024, the XUV 3XO is expected to get a host of new features and a different look. Mahindra had released teasers for the upcoming XUV 3XO, revealing a few details. The SUV ups the game with new features you won’t find in the XUV300. Based on the teasers, here are the five new features that will make XUV 3XO stand out:
1. Panoramic Sunroof
The teaser released by Mahindra reveals one of the most important updates on the upcoming XUV 3XO – a panoramic sunroof, making the SUV the first in the segment to have this unit. The XUV300 and other existing models in this segment currently come with a single-pane sunroof.
2. A Larger Touchscreen
A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is found on the current XUV300. However, the XUV 3XO will rather boast a 10.25-inch system supporting wireless smartphone connectivity. Additionally, it is expected to have more connected car tech features. The Mahindra XUV400, the electric version of the Mahindra XUV300, also comes with this unit.
3. Fully Digital Driver’s Display
Another feature found on the new XUV400 is the 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, which Mahindra will also provide with the XUV 3XO. The digital driver’s display comes with integrated navigation. Given that the current version gets a semi-digital instrument cluster, this is going to be a big update.
4. Ventilated Front Seats
The upcoming sub-4m SUV will provide top-notch comfort, thanks to the ventilated front seats. Only a few cars such as the Nexon and Sonet already boast this feature. So, this has to be an essential feature to keep up with the rivals in the segment.

5. Wireless Phone Charger
Mahindra is expected to introduce a wireless phone charger to the XUV 3XO as the same was added to the XUV400 when it received the model year update. This feature provides for more convenient charging, keeping the front console of the cabin wire-free at the same time.
6. Expected Price And Rivals
The Mahindra XUV300 currently comes with a price range of Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 14.75 lakh (ex-showroom). With a slew of new additions and overhauls, the prices of the XUV 3XO are expected to go up. So, it might come at a starting price of Rs 9 lakh. The upcoming car will take on the likes of Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza.
Meanwhile, select dealerships across India have begun accepting bookings for the Mahindra XUV 3XO. If you just can’t wait for the official launch and want to be among the first ones to keep their hands on the SUV, you can book it for a token amount of Rs 21,000.
