New Delhi: First introduced more than a year ago, the two-door luxury all-electric sedan represents the brand’s first step towards a purely electric car future in 2030. The Rolls Royce Spectre carries the familiar long hood design, minimalist profile and fastback-style rear end. The Spectre measures over 5.4m in length and 2m in width.

In terms of design, the all-electric sedan features Rolls Royce’s widest ever grille for improved aerodynamic efficiency, a new ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ on the hood, ultra-slim LED DRLs with the main cluster headlamp located separately below, 23-inch wheels optimized for aero and sloping roofline with vertical rear LED lights seamlessly integrated into the car’s profile.

Rolls Royce Features
Inside, Rolls Royce carries over all the luxury features and technology from its standard models with a similar layout. What has changed is the Starlight insert that now adorns the door panels as well as the roof.
The Spectre also comes with new front and rear seats with custom stitching, embroidery and intricate piping. The electric Rolls Royce also has a fully digital instrument cluster along with a large central infotainment touchscreen; among many other technologies.
The Rolls Royce Spectre is based on the brand’s space-frame all-aluminum chassis. However, the Spectre’s architecture is said to be 30% stiffer than any previous models. The car is also equipped as standard with active suspension and four-wheel steering.

Rolls Royce Specifications
Rolls Royce has not yet revealed the final Spectre powertrain specifications. However, the company claims that the all-electric luxury sedan should be able to offer a range of 520 km (WLTP cycle).
The electric drive could produce around 585 BHP and 900 Nm, sending power to all four wheels. Rolls Royce also claims the Spectre can propel itself from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds, which is impressive considering it weighs just under 3 tonnes.
Bookings for the Rolls Royce Spectre have opened, although it is expected to be launched and delivered sometime in the fourth quarter of 2023.
