New Delhi: The upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna test mule has been spotted on several occasions. The production-ready version of the updated model is likely to be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. The new Hyundai Verna is all set to offer a new set of cosmetic and functional enhancements.

The new Hyundai Verna gets a new grille flanked by a new set of redesigned LED headlights. Other features of the new design will include two-tone alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, high-mounted brake lights and redesigned bumpers for freshness.

On the sides, the car will offer a sloping roofline, aerodynamic ORVMs and newly designed alloy wheels. The rear profile is accentuated by two-piece split LED taillights.
Interior
As for the interior, the new model will get premium upholstery and ambient lighting. The list of features will include ventilated front seats, fully digital instrument panel, ADAS, power sunroof, BlueLink connectivity and wireless charging. Furthermore, the updated sedan may get a redesigned dashboard layout for freshness.
Engine
The technical details of the 2023 Hyundai Verna have not been revealed yet. The upcoming model is expected to be powered by the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol version produces 113bhp at 6300rpm and 144Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
On the other hand, the diesel version produces 113bhp at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 1500rpm. The car will be available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
2023 Hyundai Verna: Launch
The new Verna sedan is expected to be unveiled in January at the Auto Expo 2023. The exact launch timeline is not yet known; however, reports claim that Hyundai has accelerated the development of the new Verna sedan. We expect the new model to go on sale in Q2 2023, around April to May.
