Swedish car company Volvo plans to sell the XC40 recharge through online only. Its booking will start from July 27. Customers will be able to book it online on the Volvo Cars India website by paying Rs 50,000. It is worth noting that Volvo had entered the Indian market in 2007 and till now the company has launched many cars here but the XC40 recharge is a very important product for the company from India point of view as it is the company's first electric car to be assembled in India. . The new Volvo XC40 Recharge is built on the same Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform as the regular XC40. It comes with two electric motors that generate 402 Bhp of combined power and 660 Nm of combined peak torque.
