New Delhi: Volvo Cars India has unveiled its second electric car, the Volvo C40 Recharge SUV, in India. The details regarding the price of this car will be announced during its launch in August 2023, and deliveries will begin in September 2023.
Color Options for Volvo C40 Recharge:
The company has presented this car with six color options, including Crystal White, Onyx Black, Fusion Red, Cloud Blue, Sage Green, and Fjord Blue.
Design of Volvo C40 Recharge:
This electric SUV features a front fascia design, LED headlights, vertical LED taillamps, and 19-inch alloy wheels with diamond-cutting.
Cabin of Volvo C40 Recharge:
Regarding the cabin of this electric car, it incorporates charcoal and blue inserts. The cabin includes a 12.3-inch driver display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a four-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, a power-adjustable passenger seat, suede textile/microtech upholstery, and a three-spoke leather steering wheel. Additionally, it offers keyless entry, dual-zone climate change, air purifier, gear lever knob, and a panoramic sunroof.
Battery and Driving Range of Volvo C40 Recharge:
This electric SUV is equipped with a 78 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which provides a single-charge WLTP certified range of 530 km. It is offered in a single variant with a dual electric motor and an all-wheel-drive system. The power pack generates a maximum power of 480 hp and a peak torque of 660 Nm. The top speed of this car is 180 km/h, and it is capable of accelerating from 1-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Furthermore, with fast charging, the car can charge up to 80% in just 27 minutes.
Price of Volvo C40 Recharge:
The company has not disclosed the price of the car at the moment, but it is expected to be priced around 60 lakhs INR.
Competition:
In the Indian market, the Volvo C40 Recharge will compete with electric cars such as the Mercedes-Benz EQA, Mini Cooper SE, Audi Q3 Sportback, and Kia EV6.
