The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan is set to include an electric motor as part of its powertrain options, alongside the existing diesel engine. It’s expected to make its global debut in 2024, with an Indian launch anticipated by 2025.

The vehicle will offer power options ranging from 201 bhp to 265 bhp across various variants. Thanks to its 19.7 kWh battery pack, the hybrid Tiguan will achieve an electric range of up to 100 km.

The 2024 VW Tiguan features a 48-volt mild hybrid system, housing a 1.5-liter petrol engine. This four-cylinder engine delivers impressive speed and efficiency. Furthermore, the car offers a 2.0-liter petrol engine option and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 148 bhp. Charging options include an 11 kW AC charger and a 50 kW DC fast charger, ensuring convenience for electric motor charging.
