Volkswagen recently launched two new cars, the Volkswagen Taigun Sound Edition and Virtus Sound Edition. Priced at Rs 16.33 lakh and Rs 15.52 lakh respectively (ex-showroom), both cars come equipped with airbags and touchscreen infotainment systems. These latest additions to Volkswagen’s lineup are set to compete with established models like the Hyundai Creta and Honda City in the market.

Under the Hood: Performance and Transmission

Reports suggest that the Virtus Sound Edition will boast a robust 1.0-liter engine capable of generating 115 PS power and 175 Nm peak torque, ensuring swift performance even on rough terrains. This turbocharged petrol engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and offers an automatic transmission option for enhanced driving convenience.
