Volkswagen has launched special editions of sedan car Virtus and SUV Taigun in the Indian market. The company has named this edition as GT Edge Limited Edition. Along with this, some other variants and their prices have also been announced.
New variants arrived
Volkswagen’s Taigun SUV has been introduced in GT+ manual transmission and GT DSG variants. With this, Taigun is now available in a total of nine variants for all the customers. At the same time, the sedan car Virtus has also been brought with a six-speed manual transmission.
Features in limited edition
GT Edge Limited Edition has been brought by the company for both these cars. Which can be booked on the company’s website. The Virtus GT Plus DSG and GT Plus Manual get Deep Black Pearl exterior body colour. At the same time, Taigun has been made available with Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Gray Matte Finish.

The Taigun GT Edge gets GT badging on the front grille and GT badging on the fenders as well. Virtus GT Edge also gets GT badging on the front grille and fenders, signature LED tail lamps, LED headlamps, DRLs, 25.65 cm touchscreen infotainment, red ambient lights, aluminum pedals, six airbags, front fog lamps, auto headlights, hill start assist, ESG. Features like Ventilated Front Seats, Electric Sunroof, Auto AC, Cruise Control are available.
Price
The ex-showroom price of the GT Plus variant of Virtus has been kept at Rs 16.89 lakh. At the same time, the price of GT DSG variant of Taigun has been fixed at Rs 16.79 lakh and the price of GT Plus manual has been fixed at Rs 17.79 lakh. These can be booked on the company’s website and their deliveries will start after July 2023.
