New Delhi: German automaker Volkswagen has launched the first anniversary edition of its compact SUV Taigun in India. It is based on the Topline variant and its price starts at Rs. 15.7 million.
In terms of highlights, the car boasts of cosmetic changes inside and out and has a long list of technical features.
It is powered by a 1.0-liter TSI engine that generates 114 horsepower.

The Volkswagen Taigun First Anniversary Edition features sporty curved headlights, a long hood, premium fog lights and ‘1st’ Anniversary Edition badging.
It gets window shields, door edge protectors, body-colored door trim, black C-pillar graphics, ORVM covers and a roof liner. It rides on sporty looking alloy wheels.
The model is available in Rising Blue, Wild Cherry Red and Curcuma Yellow color variants.
It is powered by a 1.0-liter 114-horsepower engine. The Volkswagen Taigun First Anniversary Edition draws power from a 1.0-liter TSI engine that churns out a maximum power of 114 horsepower and a maximum torque of 178 Nm. The mill is connected to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
