New Delhi: Vehicle manufacturer Volkswagen India has added many new features to its two popular models Taigun and Virtus among the customers in the Indian market. Both the Taigun SUV and the Virtus Sedan are part of the company’s India 2.0 project and are built on the MQB A0 IN platform. Let us give you information about the new features associated with both these vehicles.

Recall that the Taigun was launched in 2021, while the Virtus, on the other hand, was launched a year later. The Volkswagen Taigun will now get the option of auto headlights and auto coming/leaving home lights. Now you people will get to see this option in Virtus GT variant as well. Apart from this, now you will also get rear fog lamps in all the variants of this car.
These models come with 5 star ratings
Both these Volkswagen models come with GNCAP 5 star safety rating. Along with this, you will get both manual and automatic transmission options with 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI petrol engines in both the models.

Engine also updated
Not only this, the company has also informed that the 2023 variants of both these models have also been updated and these models will now comply with the new RDE emission norms applicable for vehicles from April 1, 2023. Also, these models will be able to run on E20 fuel as well.
Prices will increase this much from April 1
For the information of you people, let us tell you that Volkswagen has announced that the company will increase the prices of all its models by 2 percent from the first date of next month.

Volkswagen Taigun has been the best selling car of the company and the company has sold 1657 units of this car in the last month i.e. February. On the other hand, sales of 1563 units of Virtus were recorded last month.
