New Delhi: Volkswagen Cars India has released its sales report for the year 2022. In which there has been a tremendous jump in the sales of the company’s cars. Volkswagen has registered a jump of 58 percent in the sales of its cars in the year 2022 as compared to the year 2021. According to the company, cars like Volkswagen Taigun, Volkswagen Virtus and Volkswagen Tiguan have contributed a lot to such results. Volkswagen India’s most popular car of the year 2022 was the Taigun SUV. The car has also recently received a 5-star safety rating for adults and children by Global NCAP.

The company is expanding its network in the country

Volkswagen established 159 selling points and 126 service touchpoints to strengthen its presence in 118 cities across the country. These include cities like Jammu, Agra, Delhi NCR, Nagpur, Kolkata, Arcot Road and Rajahmundry. Along with this, Volkswagen India is also expanding its pre-owned brand Das WeltAuto (DWA), which is a platform to buy, sell, upgrade and exchange the company’s cars. The DWA platform now has over 26,000 customers across the country through a network of 109 DWA Outlets and 25 Centers of Excellence.
