New Delhi: The best selling car in India in the subcompact SUV segment is the Tata Nexon. This car was first launched in the year 2017. In the year 2020, it was last given a mid-life update. Now the new generation model of this car is going to hit the market soon. The company has started testing this car. Whose first spy pictures have recently been captured in the camera. Although no information has been given about the launch of this car yet, but according to media reports, this car will be launched in 2024.
Will get curve inspired design
The car is likely to get major cosmetic changes at the front and rear profile, the spy pictures reveal that the design seems to be inspired by the Curve concept car. Due to which a similar headlamp setup can be found. The Curvv concept was showcased at the Auto Expo this year, the Tata car rivals the Hyundai Creta in the market. The 2024 Tata Nexon will get a redesigned front grille, a new connected LED light bar above it, updated front bumper and central air intake, an LED light bar with taillamp cluster at the rear. The subcompact SUV could also get new alloy wheels.

Will get new touchscreen
Interior details of the new Tata Nexon are yet to be revealed, but the SUV could get a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for new smartphone connectivity and voice command function. Less and clear graphics can be given in this infotainment unit with large text. A new digital cluster can also be found in this car, as well as changes can be made in its dashboard design.
Will get new turbo-petrol engine
The 2024 Tata Nexon could get a new 1.2L turbo petrol engine. This engine can generate maximum power of 125bhp and torque of 225Nm. Also, the existing 1.5L diesel engine will be retained in it. It gets 110bhp power. It will get the option of both manual and AMT gearboxes.

Competes with Hyundai Creta
Tata Nexon currently competes with Hyundai Creta in the country. There is a choice of one diesel and two petrol engines in this car. The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 10.64 lakh.
